Cutting edge cancer research is the key to cancer survival. The ICR Global Foundation enables donors to fund the world’s most effective and efficient cancer researchers.
For instance, scientists at the UK's Institute of Cancer Research have discovered two drug development candidates per year over the last five years - an unparalleled record - and have discovered many key cancer-causing genes, including BRCA2. At least 90% of the ICR's total income goes directly to lifesaving cancer research.

Meet the
The ICR Global Foundation exists to fund truly cutting edge cancer research as effectively as possible.
To that end, we exclusively fund organizations that exhibit excellence, education and efficiency in cancer research.
Who we are
The ICR Global Foundation is led by people whose lives or loved ones have been affected by cancer. They bring their unique skills and life experiences to the Foundation in hopes that the research we fund will help to bring about the day when cancer is a manageable disease, not a life-threatening one.

Across the world, there are over 12 million cancer cases diagnosed each year. In the United States alone, nearly 1.5 million cases of cancer were diagnosed in 2007.
